Ah yes fogot about that thread! Basically Sean's proposal 
https://lists.orbitalfox.eu/archives/gemini/2019/000045.html would 
satisfy all my needs client-wise, but if you prefer not to go this route
that's fine too. Kind of a cherry on top of the cake!
