I just wrote a gemlog that was demonstrating the uses of ``` [1].
There's a much easier way to do it. Just add a space at the start.

As for lines starting with a magic string, you can just put them inside
a preformatted block.

```

I'm holding out hope that the space after the ``` will be used for great
purpose for accessibility. I think that's a much more productive
direction than fringe cases of formatting.
