Adding my 2¢... as a Lua aficionado -with its longstanding DIY ethos- I see no issues whatsoever.

Also, kudos to Sean Conner for being the standard-bearer for Lua in the Gemini space.

I'm personally always in awe at his mastery of Parsing Expression Grammars. A work of true beauty.
