I think using an issue tracker is an huge improvement for this project
and I would like to use gitlab and participate to the discussion there
but I am not, for example, able  to even make an account on gitlab.com
(the  website keeps  checking my  browser, whatever  this means).   My
ideal  solution would  be a  self-hosted  gitea instance,  but i  found
friendly,   privacy   aware   and    comfortable   the   instance   at
https://codeberg.org/.

Anyway i hope  proposals discussed here could be  forwarded to gitlab,
if they are considered valid, of course.
