Thunderbird 78.11.0 recognizes gemini:// URLs ! 💗

FWIW macOS will recognise gemini:// urls in a variety of contexts if you have an app installed which purports to handle them. This would apply to any app, but it includes my own client Felicity.

I was unable to reproduce this behaviour on Discord for Mac. I assume it is not using native widgets and therefore it would not pick it up.
