At this time, comp.infosystems.gemini is carried via freely accessible
non-profit news provider aioe.org, cf. https://news.aioe.org/

I guess Thunderbird still is a popular News client to start with. Simply
add another account under "Other/News", enter nntp.aioe.org and subscribe
to comp.infosystems.gemini or some other interesting groups (if not
empty, though).

It seems Solderpunk copied their `I have returned` message over there,
tonight :)
